Discover Métis Crossing and meet Knowledge Holder Lilyrose

Tuesday, June 28 – 12PM to 1PM MT (2PM to 3PM ET)

FREE (NATIONAL TRUST MEMBERS ONLY)

During National Indigenous History month, learn firsthand about Métis culture and traditions at Métis Crossing, the first major cultural destination for Alberta Métis cultural interpretation, education, gatherings, and events. Sitting on 688-acres of land, comprised of river lot titles from the original Métis settlers to the region in the late 1800s, the Crossing is designed to engage and excite visitors through an exploration of Métis cultural experiences.

Led by Juanita Marois, CEO of Métis Crossing, the tour will explore the brand new lodge at the Crossing and the Vision, Hopes, and Dreams Wildlife Park which recently welcomed the return of Woods Bison, Plains Bison, White Bison, Elk, White Elk, and Percheron horses to the traditional Métis Lands.

The tour will end with a fireside chat with Lilyrose, Knowledge holder at Métis Crossing.

Please bring your curiosity and questions to this one of a kind, members-only tour.
